House Progress

Although no actual building has started on the block yet (the land has been levelled awaiting peering) I went by the block yesterday to have a look and saw that some signs have been put up on the fence:




Exciting to nobody but me! Oh well.

The house on the left of me is also being built by Allworth so I had to check with Ken (my builder for the foundation) that it wasn't going to be the same house (too bad if it was)... anyway, it's not - thank goodness.

Ken tells me that he is going to start the peerings on Monday. I have roughly calculated that at this point (with no more delays) the estimated finishing date is 12th July. Of course, we have just started Autumn so it is going to be raining in this and the next season. I'm in no rush... I'm now waiting for tax time so I can use that money for the house.
